Last season, France finished fourth in the overall World Cup standings, behind New Zealand, Argentina and Fiji. In 12 stages, Les Bleus collected one silver and three bronze medals. In a discipline in which they finished 7th at the Rio Olympics in 2016, before missing out on qualification for the Tokyo Games in 2020.
