Sounded out by OM a few weeks ago, Christophe Galtier politely declined Pablo Longoria’s offer, cooled by the heated atmosphere in Marseille at the time – all the more so for a player who had just broken with PSG. However, it wasn’t long before the 57-year-old was back in the game.

Having been relieved of his duties at Paris on July 5, Christophe Galtier will today be presented to the club by Al-Duhaïl, the reigning Qatari champions. Galtier, who signed his contract on Monday, the day after the F1 Grand Prix of Qatar to which his president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi had invited him, will then conduct his very first training session in Doha, as Le Parisien reports.
