After a run of three defeats in four games, Chelsea bounced back with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace on Wednesday evening in the Premier League’s 19th matchday.

The Blues got off to a perfect start, opening the scoring through Mykhailo Mudryk (13th) after Malo Gusto had done all he could. Starting from the right, the French full-back controlled the ball nicely on the halfway line, before finishing on the left after a lucky link-up with Christopher Nkunku. After a near-perfect first half, Chelsea were stunned just before the interval by a goal from French U-21 international Michael Olise (45th). Pushing forward in the second half, the Blues finally managed to win the game thanks to a penalty converted by substitute Noni Madueke (89th).

In the standings, Chelsea are provisionally back in 10th place with 25 points, and still more defeats (8) than wins (7).
