After Toulouse (3-0) and Monaco (0-1), it was FC Nantes who were beaten by the rediscovered OL. Pierre Sage’s 3-4-3 line-up was the same as before, and although the Rhone outfit didn’t impress, they did what they had to do.) had 2-0 balls which they didn’t convert, but that didn’t penalize their team. Nantes, despite Dejan Lovren’s red card for a heavy tackle on Mostafa Mohamed (84th), never really managed to trouble Anthony Lopes.

With these nine points from three games, OL have moved up to 16th place, out of the red zone, and are suddenly breathing a lot easier. The opposite was true for Jocelyn Gourvennec’s FC Nantes, who suffered their third defeat in a row and are now just two points ahead of their opponents…
