The soap opera had been front-page news for many days, and the subject is still a hot topic, because it involves an element of mystery. We don’t really know what state Michael Schumacher is in, ten years after his skiing accident that left him with severe brain damage, because his family continues not to communicate on the subject. What we do know, however, is what happened on that famous day in December 2013, in MĂ©ribel.

After Schumi’s fall, many lies were circulated. The first untruth was that the former Ferrar driveromber headfirst into a second one, as reported by L’Equipe.

Another piece of fake news about this accident is that Schumacher’s helmet was damaged by the camera he was wearing, aggravating his injuries. GoPro paid a high price for this rumour, suffering a sharp fall on the stock market. Again, not true. The camera came loose on impact, and the authorities were even able to view the footage, providing important information on the aftermath of the accident.

He’s not the Michael he used to be

In the years that followed, there will have been other flights of fancy from certain media outlets, but the fact remains that the Schumacher family is coming to the end of the world.communicate with loved ones in one way or another.

It’s not the Michael of old, the former Ferrari boss recently confided. He’s different, and he’s beautifully looked after by his wife and children, who protect him. His life is different and I’m privileged to be able to share moments with him. That’s all there is to it. Unfortunately, fate struck him ten years ago and he’s no longer the Michael we knew in F1.
